Super Stars - Norwegian cult band a-ha to perform in ARD-Chartshow
Apart from the race action, the ‘ARD-Chartshow’ - traditionally a part of the DTM weekends - will also provide the crowds with a true highlight. On Sunday, 23rd October, the Norwegian cult band a-ha will enter the ARD-Chartshow stage erected in the pit-lane. The superstars even were ready to interrupt their tour preparations to offer the DTM enthusiasts on race day at 12.30hrs CET, the chance of getting a first impression of what they will enjoy during the forthcoming a-ha tour.
In the eighties, a-ha enthused their supporters by hits such as ‘Take On Me’ or ‘The Sun Always Shines On TV’. Eight MTV Awards, 17 international hit singles and seven top albums represent an impressive record. At the pinnacle of their fame, a-ha even were signed to create the theme music for the James Bond film ‘The Living Daylights’. In the nineties, things got quieter for the Norwegians, but in 2000, the made a stunning comeback. The German tour, beginning on 29th October in Cologne, is nearly sold out.

Date: 2005-10-16 14:37 (UTC)Я представления не имею, что такое ARD-Chartshow, поскольку ДТМ у нас освещается не так подробно, как Ф1 и кроме самих гонок у нас ничего не показывают. Да я и не интересуюсь, если честно, что там происходит, мне в ДТМ интересны исключитально сами гонки.
Но, похоже, это традиционный концерт в честь окончания сезона (23-го пройдет последний этап) и награждения победителей.
